THE SEARCH:

Altus Partners are delighted to be working with a leading growth fund that is looking to grow its Origination team. Whilst the fund focuses on a range of sectors this role with have an increased focus on originating deals in the FinTech space. You’ll be joining a collegiate team and this role will suit someone who is a natural relationship builder with prior exposure to the private equity industry.

 

THE ROLE:

  • Your role will include but by no means be limited to the following.

  • Analysing data to identify potentially interesting investment opportunities

  • Reach out to business and organise initial meetings

  • Develop a relationship with business that can be in contact for several years before investment  

  • Participate in the commercial discussions

  • Preparing IC papers and attending meeting with management teams  

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1 to 2 years work experience, most likely through Accounting, Consulting or Investment Banking

  • Exposure to the private equity industry and ideally FinTech

  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
