THE SEARCH:
Altus Partners are working with a high-growth, multisite healthcare services business, who are backed by a leading private equity group. Based from their Munich headquarters, this individual will oversee the finance and accounting department, leading a high-performing team, while supporting the Group CFO on key strategic initiatives. The group has ambitious plans to grow exponentially over the next 3 – 4 years as they move towards a high-profile exit.

THE ROLE:
Oversight of finance and accounting department for the group (20+ operating companies)
Preparation of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
Leading a finance department of 10+ people
Preparation of VAT returns for the tax group and all group companies
Development of the digital invoice workflow tool and SAP system.
management and communication with service providers and partners who work closely with the accounting department
Supporting the Controlling department with data for monthly reporting and budget planning
Main contact for tax authorities, auditors, consultants and banks
Support Group CFO in strategic tasks e.g. PMI of new acquisitions as part of the buy and build group strategy
Improve efficiencies across the finance department
THE REQUIREMENTS:
Degree in Economics or Accounting preferred
Experience in the healthcare sector desirable
Fluent in German
Advanced Excel skills
SAP experience advantageous
Strong communication and leadership skills
