​THE SEARCH:

Altus Partners are partnered with a Digital Infrastructure PE company, backed by a large cap Private Equity fund who require a VP Group Financial Control based in London. Working closely with the CFO, you will lead the group finance including managing the internal and external reporting and act as a trusted business partner to the Executive Leadership team and Investors as our client expand their European geographical growth plans.  

 

THE ROLE:

  • Oversee all accounting and financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management

  • Prepare detailed monthly and/or quarterly reports on financial performance, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements

  • Develop an effective and efficient month end reporting process, adopting a mindset of continuous improvement and using automation where possible

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, as well as timely preparation of financial statements and reports under IFRS and US GAAP

  • Provide analysis and insights on company performance to the C Suite and Investors to form strategic decisions

  • Manage relationships with external partners; including investors, auditors and financial institutions

  • Leadership of a team of 3 direct reports across management and financial accounts

 

THE REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of 8-10 years of prior experience within a Private Equity backed company, preferably within the Digital Infrastructure sector

  • Strong working knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, internal controls and financial reports

  • Demonstrate a forward-thinking, strategic approach to your work with the ability to utilise your insights and knowledge of the business / sector to anticipate future possibilities, industry trends, and implications accurately

  • Interested in developing and managing relationships across all levels of the organisation

  • Willingness to be in the office at least 3 days per week
