​THE SEARCH:

​Altus Partners are supporting a large cap private-equity asset within financial services build out a high performing group finance team preparing for an IPO transaction. Due to significant growth, M&A and private equity investment, they are seeking an experienced and dynamic FP&A professional to play a key role in a period of significant scale. As Head of FP&A, you will drive planning & analysis and be a key point of contact for senior stakeholders across the business. You will know what good look likes from previous listing or FTSE experience and provide critical support to growth initiatives.

THE ROLE:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s objectives and growth plan.

  • Support the Group Finance Director in building robust financial models and scenario analyses to support IPO valuation and investor discussions.

  • Transformation: Key focus on driving a higher level of output and quality through FP&A, whist ensuring effective processes and controls are implemented.

  • Lead the development and implementation of best-in-class FP&A systems, tools, and automation initiatives.

  • Ensure scalability of reporting frameworks to meet the demands of a publicly listed company.

  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to project future financial performance and support strategic decision-making.

  • Provide strategic financial input to the executive team and private equity investors.

  • Oversee Capex planning, forecasting, and ROI analysis, ensuring disciplined capital allocation

  • Board and Investor Reporting: Ensuring clear articulation of financial performance, KPIs, and strategic priorities to external stakeholders.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to gather and analyse data, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial performance.

THE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven track record as a Group FP&A Manager/Senior Manager FP&A 

  • 5 – 6 years + PQ experience in a FTSE 100 and/or IPO Transaction

  • A strong finance education (ACA / Chartered Accountant ) and track record in senior finance roles within large, complex organisations.

  • Experience working a top professional services firm as part of accounting qualification, ideally Transaction Services.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial concepts to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
