Altus Partners is delighted to be partnered with an esteemed investment platform in the search for a Deputy Chief Financial Officer (CFO) or “Group Finance Director” in a newly created opportunity since private equity investment and recent acquisition. This will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial landscape over the next 12 months. The business and opportunity will be fast moving and highly acquisitive, supporting broadly across the remit of control, M&A, strategy and driving change. 

As the Deputy CFO, you'll collaborate closely with the CFO, CEO and other senior management to oversee the financial operations of a complex business structure and diverse portfolio. Your strategic insight and financial expertise will be instrumental in driving the company's financial performance, ensuring compliance, and identifying opportunities for growth and efficiency.

 

THE ROLE: 

  • Assist in developing and implementing financial strategies aligned with the company's objectives.

  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.

  • Working closely with the financial controllership team, own and develop the financial planning tool to improve quality and timeliness of our management reporting

  • Manage financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Provide insightful analysis to drive decision-making and support strategic initiatives.

  • Oversee risk management strategies and internal controls.

  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize financial performance and operational efficiency.

THE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience in a senior financial role within the finance services industry, upwards from Group Finance Director in similar size and scale.

  • Strong understanding of Financial Services, Wealth or Asset Management, regulations and reporting standards.

  • Immediate availability or short notice period

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.

  • Solid grasp of financial analysis, forecasting, and risk management.

  • Qualified Accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA or Chartered Accountant)
